Every Blade of Grass Angel Card— Thank You, Encouragement Card

"Every blade of grass has an angel that bends over it and whispers: grow grow." -The Talmud

I made this card to thank lots of people in my life who have encouraged me along the journey — teachers and encouragers. 

Our mom is a huge supporter of the arts, and Grace and I would not be the same creative people we are if our mom hadn't fostered that in us when we were growing up. 

I grew up loving iconography. I even took an art history class in college about it.

Somewhere along the line, those icons and this verse from the Talmud got rattling around in my brain, combined with gratitude of one particular "angel" in my life. 

I hope you have angels in your life too, who have nurtured you into being the person you are and whom you can thank with this card. 

Incidentally, Grace/Snail thought this would be a great Baby Card as well, and I agree! 
That's just the magic of these cards.
